Oddball Circles Challenge Reminder

Good Morning and Welcome Back!

Today I bring you my reminder DT card for the Oddball Circles Challenge. The digi stamp I used is called Sid the Silly Seahorse and is No. 323. I thought he would be cute with circle bubbles to fit in with the theme.

I had a lot of fun using Disress Stains to create the background and heat embossing the bubbles! I wanted Sid to be a funky purple and even googled purple seahorses for inspiration. I layered with purple and a blue circle background. Finishing with a greeting, circular Card Candi and glossy accents on the glasses.

BB8 Die-Cut and Hand Drawn Birthday Card

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a card I made for my little Sister who is a huge fan of StarWars. I decided to try my hand at my own "fan art" design for her Birthday Card . . .

I studied the pics and cut some shapes, using Promarkers to colour pieces and pencil to sketch shapes out. I added torn papers to create a sandy like background. A simple greeting and name to finish with a few black gems.

I thought this digi was beautifully designed with an awesome composition. I released my inner artist and here is my card . . .

I had a lot of fun using Disress Inks, water, White Pen, Promarkers and Glitter Glue. I kept going until I was pleased with this very colourful card. It was hard to know when to stop as I love to put lots of embellishments on but did refrain from doing so! No pearls or gems lol!

Oddball Art Stamps Circle Challenge and DT Card

Hello! Hello!

Today I can announce I am now a Design Team Member for Oddball Art Stamps! So exciting as Lizzy Love creates a fab range of quirky and cute digi stamps - that I get to work with :D
The challenge theme for this months challenge is Circles. The digi stamp I used is No.64B and is called Creepy Claire. I love the circular shape of the moon and thought this would work fab with my ideas. I am working on my mix media skills using distress ink, book pages and acrylic paint . . .

I had a lot of fun using Disress Inks, water pen, Promarkers and white acrylic with a tooth brush. I die cut some circles out of the original front piece and layered book pages with distress inks behind the circles for texture. I die cut some stars and a Hello greeting and coloured pink to pop off the page.!
