Guest Designer Project for Imagine Design Create - Christmas Star Gift Tags

Hi Everyone!
I’m super excited to be Guest Designing for Imagine Design Create.
Please check out my original blog post on the Imagine Design Create blog here!

Today I want to share with you some gift tags I have made using the lovely Nesting Stars A5 Stamp Set and Solid Star Stamp Set.

I have also used:
White Cardstock: 300 gsm
Distress Oxides: Candied Apple and Lucky Clover
Versafine: Black onyx and Black Fine Liner Pen
Bakers Twine: Green and White
Acrylic Block and Water Spritzer
Scissors and Hole Punch

To start I stamped the largest star three times onto white cardstock.

Then I played about with stamping different designs inside the stars using the two different stamp sets. I cut around the star shapes leaving a thin border and punched a hole in the top ready for later.

I tapped my Distress Oxides onto an acrylic block and sprayed this with water.

Then I pressed different parts of the stars onto the ink picking up the two colours randomly all over the stars. I like to do this gently so I keep some of the white card showing through.

Once dry I turned the stars over and stamped the fun wording on the back and used a fine liner to crate a wavy border around the stars edges.

To finish I add the bakers twine through the holes. I had a lot of fun playing with the stamps and inks!

Little Claire Designs New Dinkie Stamps Release - Design Team Card using Wine Botttles

Good Morning to You All!

Today I am sharing the new dinkie stamp release from Little Claire Designs! Here I am sharing one of my favourite stamps from the new collection - Wine Bottles

Here is the current fab offer for these stamps!

For this card I used a sheet of paper from the Citrus Collection Paper Collection and stamped the image a few times to layer the wine bottles and the grapes. There are some awesome sentiments with this set and I know I will be using this for many Wine themed Birthday cards. The die cut flourish is a Sweet Dixie die which I knew would be perfect for the corners. I coloured the stamped images in with the Distress Oxides and a watercolour brush.

Other New Dinkies can be found here!

Galaxy Background Box Frame Design Team Project for Craft Ribbons

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am sharing a Galaxy Background Box Frame Project inspired by the lovely Moon and Back Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. I love making Galaxy Backgrounds and knew I had some perfect stamps to compliment this Ribbon :)

This ribbon is from the collection in the Alien Catagory

A close up of the ribbon before I put it in the box frame. Glass is so hard to photo!

I made an inky background using the Distress Inks in the various purples, blues and blacks, splashing water and flicking white acrylic until I was happy with the results. I then stamped the Unicorn and Moon stamps from the Believe In Unicorns set by Visible Image in clear Versamark and used black embossing powder to create a glossy feature. To finish I added the beautiful ribbon and a few sequins to the background.

Twins Christening Cards using Tonic Studio's Dies

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing two cards I made for a friend who is now Godmother to twins. I knew there was going to be a lot of wording so kept the layout simple and used some stunning dies by Tonic Studio.

I used pearlised white card and a baby pink for the background. I printed out the wording and cut using an oval Lawn Fawn stitched die. The flowers are punched out using Stampin' Up! punches and to finish I used pearls for the flower centres.

Owl Anniversary Card using My Favorite Things I'm Owl Yours Stamps and Tonic Die

Good Morning and Happy Weekend!

Today I am sharing an anniversary card commission and I thought the I'm Owl Yours Stamp set by My Favorite Things would be perfect!  The Die sentiment is by Tonic Studios and is the from the Tonic Studios 3-Piece Partner Sentiment Die Set.

I made the inky background using the Distress Oxides in Abandoned Coral, Lime Zest and Broken China. I inked an acrylic block and sprayed with water. The squashed the block onto the card to create the rectangle. I then stamped the owls, coloured with a brush and Oxides and fussy cut. I added hearts to the background and cut a banner for the greeting. To finish I added the sentiment.

Lili of the Valley Squirrel Trio Flowers Digi Stamp Birthday Card

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a commissioned card I made for someone who loves squirrels. For this card I found the perfect Digi Image from Lili of the Valley and it's part of a set of three digi stamps called Squirrel Trio - Flowers. I thought this one would be super cute for a Birthday Card.

I kept this one simple by cutting out the image with a circle die and colouring with Distress Inks as watercolours. I used some heart papers from the B and M range and punched some flowers to decorate.
