Imagine Design Create Guest Design Team Card using Diamond Love - Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a fun Guest Design Team card I made for Imagine Design Create using the beautiful Diamond Love Stamp Set and Distress Oxide Inks. I played around to create my own background for this clean and simple card.

I have also used:

6” x 4” Card Blank

Black Card Stock

White Card Stock

Black Ink

Distress Oxide Ink: Seedless Preserves, Salty Ocean and Twisted Citron

Double Sided Tape, PVA glue

I decided to try and keep this card clean looking and selected the inside diamond stamp as I knew this would be perfect for my background. I inked the large diamond randomly over the three Oxide inks and stamped onto the card stock, repeating in a random pattern. I then placed the middle and smaller diamond together on a block and repeated, filling in some of the gaps.

To finish I stamped one black sparkle on a large gem, stamped the “Diamonds” wording in black and on a separate rectangle stamped the sentiment in the three oxide colours. I then matted with black card to finish.

I love how each diamond is different as the inking process mixes differently each time. Don’t worry about getting ink on the different pads as it just wipes off and doesn’t affect the ink!
